Yemeni army spokesman: More than 20 Saudi soldiers killed, scores injured in Jizan

JIZAN, March 24 (YPA) -More than 20 Saudi soldiers were killed and scores were injured in an offensive operation carried out by the Yemeni army forces in Jizan region, Yemeni army spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree has said on Sunday.

According to the Brigadier General, the attack targeted the Saudi military positions in the eastern part of MBC Mountain, Safah and Siyabah villages and nearby locations.

The spokesman confirmed that several military commanders were among the dead, and indicated that the army forces destroyed 5 vehicles and captured Saudi military materiel during the attack.
