Update: Yemen army regains control of military sites in Najran

NAJRAN, March 14 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces on Thursday managed to regain control of a number of sites in al-Rabah area in Najran region after purging it of Saudi army mercenaries, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army’s offensive on the mercenaries’ sites in al-Raba resulted in dozens of dead and wounded in their ranks, as well as destroying three military vehicles belonging to them and causing damage to a fourth in ambushes, according to the official.

On Wednesday, the army forces took control of several roads and sites in Western Rushaha in al-Boqa front during a military offensive, and killed dozens of Saudi soldiers during others operations in several fronts of Najran, as well as sniping a Saudi soldier and five mercenaries in al-Sowah and Rushaha.
