SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – Yemen Scholars Association on Monday condemned Sunday’s crime committed by Saudi-led coalition warplanes in Tallan area of Kushar district in Hajjah province, which claimed lives of 23 children and women.
The Association indicated, in a statement, that the coalition’s crime in Tallan area is an extension of its massacres against Yemeni people over four years of the aggression.
“The silence of the United Nations and international community is a key factor in the continuation of the aggression coalition in committing more war crimes,” the Association said.
Since Sunday midnight, the coalition warplanes have waged over 30 airstrikes on Kushar district, killing 23 civilians and injuring 20 others, mostly children and women, and the death toll is likely to rise according to Ministry of Public Health and Population.
