Yemeni army launches offensive on coalition’s in Bayda

BAYDA, March 8 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Friday launched an offensive on military positions of militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Bayda province, central of Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, dozens of the militants were killed and injured in the battle, which took place in Qaniah district.

The official said that the attack has taken two tracks in which one of the enemy positions was seized and a military pickup was burned.
