SANAA, Feb. 25 (YPA) – Three Colombian consulate officials escorted by their families have left Venezuela on Sunday after the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry gave Colombian diplomats and consular officials 24 hours to leave the country.
Sputnik reported that consular staff left with their families, escorted by the police and crossed the border on foot.

Earlier, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro announced the break-up of diplomatic and political ties with Colombia.
In turn, the Colombian authorities have pledged to ensure that their diplomats leave for Venezuela as soon as possible.
