Military expert: The coalition and its militants plan to launch a large-scale attack on Hodeidah

SANAA, Feb. 20 (YPA) – A Yemeni military expert has disclosed that the Saudi-led coalition forces are planning to launch a large-scale operation on Yemen’s western coastal province of Hodeidah.

The countries of the coalition and their militants are trying to circumvent UN resolutions and launch a large-scale surprise military attack through the recent facts on the ground in the province by reinforcing its militants, Brigadier General Khaled Gharab told Al Masirah TV on Tuesday.

“The information we have received confirms that the Coalition is carrying out extensive reinforcements of its troops and armed forces, as well as intensifying aerial espionage flights as our forces carry out the two-stage redeployment, which will indicate their intention to target them during the deployment and relocation process,” Gharab said.

He indicated that days proved the lack of seriousness of the Saudi-led coalition alliance in peace and lifting the suffering of the Yemeni people.

He confirmed that negotiations with the enemies at this stage are a waste of time as the enemy tries to re-calculate and equip new forces to support all their collapsed forces.

Brigadier General warned the Saudi-led coalition against their continued violations, which have reached 231 in the past 48 hours in province of Hodeidah.

Khaled Gharab stressed that the ball is now at the United Nations Stadium, whose decisions in the Security Council will determine its seriousness in supporting the achievement of peace by pressuring the enemies to implement what has been achieved in Sweden.

We have done all that we have been asked to do to establish the pretext for them if the other side wanted to bring peace and to lift the suffering of the Yemeni people,  it would cooperate with us and the UN observer in the redeployment, open safe corridors to transport aid and open roads to passengers, Brigadier General Khaled Gharab concluded.
