Mine risk education program launched in Sanaa schools

SANAA, Feb. 18 (YPA) – Undersecretary of Sanaa province for Education and Youth Sector Taleb Dahan on Monday launched the mine risk education program, which is implemented by the education office in the province and funded by UNICEF.

In its first phase, the program aims to familiarize ten instructors and 99 facilitators in 33 schools in the districts of Arahb, Sanhan, Bani Bahlol and Bani Hushish with how to raise awareness of war remnants risk.

At the inauguration, Dahan stressed the importance of benefiting from outcomes of the program to achieve the desired goal in the awareness process.
