Report: Yemen’s Army reports attacks against Saudi troops, allied militants over Wednesday

SANAA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni Army launched a series of ground operations against the Saudi-led coalition forces over Wednesday, according to Army Media reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

In Najran Saudi province:

Army fired medium-range ballistic missile, Qaher M2, toward Saudi army operations center in khadhraa crossing, destroyed it precisely.

Army artillery shelling targeted Saudi soldiers’ gatherings in Dhaiah site.

Saudi-paid militants were hit by Yemeni army artillery shelling off Aleeb mountains.

In Jizan province:

Three Saudi soldiers were shot dead in Hamedhah and Qewa village.

Artillery shelling waged on Saudi soldiers’ gatherings in Afrah center.

Gatherings and fortifications of Saudi soldiers were shelled in Faridha site.

Saudi soldiers’ gathering were targeted in Mustahdath site east of Jahfan site.

 In Saudi border province of Asir:

Saudi soldiers and Saudi-allied militants were shelled by army artillery in Rabuaa and Alab border crossing.

In Bayda province:

 Army fired artillery on the Nedea network, causing huge casualties.

Army attacked Saudi-allied militants’ site in Jameel hill of Qaifa area, destroying weapon.

In Jawf province:

Saudi-allied militants were inflicted heavy losses in their ranks and equipment in the army  attacks on Sabrain area of Kub-washaaf district.

Saudi-allied militants’ military vehicle was destroyed in Utemah desert.

Army attacked Saudi-allied militants in Utemah, causing huge casualties.

Over twenty Saudi-allied militants were killed in army attack on their sites in Mahamesha village of Khub-washaaf district. 

In the southwestern province of Taiz:

Saudi-allied militants’ infiltration attempt toward presidential palace was aborted.

Artillery shelling targeted Saudi-allied militants in Dhubab district

A Saudi-allied fighter was gunned down south of Khaled camp, and another one in Shaqb front line.

Army fired ballistic missile, Zilzal 1, toward Saudi-allied militants north of Yakhtel.

In Dhalea province:

Army artillery forces shelled sites and fortifications of Saudi-allied militants in Khadhraa hill and Helm camp in Naqil-Khashaba area.

In Nehm district, some 50 km north of the capital Sanaa:

Army fired Katyusha rockets on Saudi-allied militants and their sites beyond Salb mountain.
