SANAA, Feb. 16 (YPA) – Minister of Industry and Trade Abdulwahab al-Durra on Saturday chaired a meeting in Sanaa to discuss a number of issues related to the difficulties facing Small Enterprise Development Fund.
At the meeting, al-Durra stressed the importance of overcoming the difficulties that face the Fund as a result of the aggression, working on the restoration of the Fund’s role, and completing the its plan for the coming period.
The meeting reviewed the Fund’s activity during the past period in providing employment opportunities for youth, during which cumulative loans amounted to more than 17.6 billion riyals, including the support for commercial, service and industrial activities.
The meeting emphasized the need for finding the necessary funds and resources for the projects and small enterprises and benefiting from international donors’ support to serve the small and strategic industries sector and the economy development.
