SANAA, Feb. 14 (YPA) – At least three people were killed in an explosion in a munitions factory in the central South Korean city of Daejeon, the Yonhap News Agency reported on Thursday
The explosion occurred at the Hanwha ammunition factory in Daejeon city, 140 kilometers from Seoul, the Yonhap News agency added.
The explosion was followed by a massive fire in which three factory workers were killed and others injured.
The authorities said the explosion occurred in the chemicals used in the production.
A similar explosion occurred at the same plant in May last year, in which two people were killed and five injured.
