Supreme Judicial Council discusses its new draft regulations

SANAA, Feb. 11 (YPA) – The Supreme Judicial Council on Monday held its weekly meeting in Sanaa under chairmanship of the Council’s President Judge Ahmad Yahya al-Mutawakil to discuss the council’s new draft regulations.

The Council proceeded to discuss a number of articles on naming, definitions and the terms of reference of the Supreme Judicial Council as the supreme administrative body competent in the affairs of the judiciary.

In the light of the discussion of these articles, the Council concluded with making some amendments on the articles and approving them.

The Council will continue to discuss the rest of the articles in its coming meetings.
