Security arrests gang of stealing shops in Sanaa

SANAA, Feb. 11 (YPA) – Omari police station in capital Sanaa has arrested a gang specializing in the theft of shops, consisting of 6 people, including a 13-year-old boy.

Director of Omari police station in Safia district explained in a press statement that 5 of the defendants aged between 18-34 years, they stole a store belonging to the citizen Abdul Karim al-Assad.

 The security information center quoted the director of Omari police station as saying that “the accused stole 11 cartons containing different wristwatches, estimated at 11 million riyals.”

 The director stressed the transfer of defendants to legal procedures.
