IOF arrests 5 Palestinians in West Bank

SANAA, Feb. 10 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale campaign of arrests and raids in  occupied West Bank on Sunday, arresting five Palestinians

According to Palestinian Now News Agency, the occupation forces arrested a number of citizens during a campaign in various parts of the West Bank.

Israeli forces raided the town of Taqu’a, southeast of Bethlehem, and the house of the freed prisoner Murad Sami Jibreen.

They also arrested Mujahid Wael ‘Issa from his house in al-Khader village, south of Bethlehem.

The occupying forces also stormed the village of Issawiya, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, and arrested Adam Maamoun Abu Riala, Amjad Attia, Saleh Ghassan Obeid.

In Nablus, clashes erupted between youths and the Israeli occupation forces in front of the Balata refugee camp east of Nablus.

The occupation forces also handed over to the elderly Mohammed al-Juba, 86, to review her intelligence following the storming of his home in the city of Hebron.

The Israeli occupation forces also arrested the boy, Mohammed Awni Aslan, 16, and Abdelmalek Hassan Abu Latifa, 19, at the Kalandia military checkpoint north of Jerusalem on the grounds of alleged possession of sharp objects.

The Israeli forces have been conducting daily night-long detentions in various governorates of the occupied West Bank, during which citizens are arbitrarily arrested.
