Army spokesman reviews achievement of Army in fronts over 72 hours
SANAA, Feb. 9 (YPA) – Spokesman of the Yemeni army, Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarei, on Saturday reviewed the latest achievement of the Yemen army on the combat fronts during 72 hours.
In statement, the spokesman said that the army repelled attacks of coalition-backed militias toward Talaa site in Boqea desert and in Lahj province.
The army also carried out three military operations against sites and gatherings of the militias in Najran, Jizan and Baydaa, added the spokesman.
The coalition’s forces were inflicted heavy losses in lives and military equipment during qualitative operations on the militias’ sites, gatherings and movements in Jizan, Najran and Jawf, Sarei said.
Sarei added that more than 52 of coalition’ forces, including Saudi soldiers, were killed in sniping attacks duting the past three days.
Furthermore, the army destroyed five military vehicles and an armored vehicle and shot down two spy planes of the coalition’s forces in several fronts.
