SANAA, Jan. 17 (YPA) – Yemen’s Ansarullah spokesman Mohammed Abdulsalam on Wednesday slammed the Saudi-led coalition’s recent remarks that it came to serve the Yemeni people.
“The Saudi-led aggression has been killing the Yemeni people, imposing all-out blockade, waging air strikes, causing starvation and triggering diseases… then Saudis, however, claim they have invaded Yemen to serve the Yemeni people,” Abdulsalam said in his Twitter.
Abdulsalam said the “aggression” coalition has completely destroyed the infrastructure, schools, hospitals roads, as well as “it switched Yemen Central Bank from the capital Sanaa to Aden last year and blocked remittance.”
The coalition’s move, according to local and international monitors, has triggered a total collapse and severe deterioration in the Yemeni economy.
