Al-Houthi congratulates Qatar on its first Asian achievement

SANAA, Feb. 1 (YPA) –  Head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, has congratulated Qatar for winning the Asian Football Championship for the first time in its history.

“We congratulate Qatar on the victory of its national football team in the Asian football tournament,” Mohammed Ali al-Houthi wrote on his Twitter account on Friday.

“The Arab joy in the victory of the Qatari team reflects the unity of the Arab peoples, no matter how the American system and the Zionist entity try to ship the Arab peoples with racism, sectarianism and segregation,” he added.

The Qatar national team was crowned for its first Asian title in the history of the country after defeating Japan with three goals against one, and crowned the scoring player al-Mu’izz Ali for the tournament.
