Update: Army shells coalition’s gatherings in Jawf
JAWF, Jan. 31 (YPA) – Artillery forces of the Yemeni army on Thursday shelled gatherings of militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The artillery attack targeted the militants at Arafah valley in Mahashmiah district, causing direct casualties, the official said.
Meanwhile, the army fired two Katyusha rockets on the militants’ gatherings Tabat Al-Jaid area in Khub Washaef district, leaving dozens of dead and wounded.
Earlier in the day, the army forces repelled attacks carried out by the Saudi-hired militants on army’s locations in Ham district, inflicting massive losses in their ranks.
