Executive procedures matrix for media sector plan for 2019 approved

SANAA, Jan. 29 (YPA) – Minister of Information Dhaifallah al-Shami on Tuesday chaired a meeting of heads of media institutions, during which an executive procedures matrix of the annual government performance plan for media sector for the year 2019 was approved.

The matrix includes confronting the US-Saudi aggression by highlighting events and activities at the national arena, countering the economic war and its media challenges, and enhancing popular steadfastness.

It also includes strengthening the media performance to cope with the battle of defending the homeland and its sovereignty and independence, consolidating the national unity, and working on breaking the media siege imposed on Yemen.

At the meeting, al-Shami stressed the importance of activating, correcting and rationalizing the media work to cope with the variables and the importance of the community awareness in confronting the aggression.
