HODEIDAH, Jan. 28 (YPA) – Head of the UN team monitoring the implementation of Sweden agreement General Patrick Cammaert on Monday visited the port of Hodeidah and met with several officials, in presence of action governor Mohammed Quhaim.
During the visit, the UN official discussed with the officials the situation of the port and procedures to implement Sweden agreement.
On another hand, Cammaert and Quhaim paid a visit to Al-Thawra Hospital, where they got acquainted with the medial services provided by the hospital, as well as the difficulties facing the hospitals in light of the difficult circumstances experienced by the country as a result of the aggression and siege.
The hospital receives between 2,000 and 3,000 patients per day, which affects the quality of medical and health services due to the hospital’s limited capacity, according to Dr. Abdulrahman Jarallah, director of the public health office in Hodeidah province.
