Update 2: Yemeni army repels coalition’s attack in Jawf

JAWF, Jan. 27 (YPA) – The Yemeni army of Sunday repelled an attack carried out by militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Jawf province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of the militants were killed and wounded during their attempts to advance towards army’s locations in Ham area of  Maton district, the official said.

According to the official, the army forces attacked the militants’ sites in Khalifain district, leaving dozens of the militants dead and wounded.

Earlier in the day, a number of the Saudi-hired militants were killed and injured in two separate ambushes in al-Maton and Khab Washaef districts.
