Report: Army inflicts heavy casualties on coalition militias over 24 hours

SANAA, Jan. 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni army waged attacks against sites of the Saudi-led coalition and its militias over the past 24 hours, inflicting heavy casualties, the Military Media said in a statement on Friday.

In border province of Asir, the army’s air force waged an attack on militias’ gatherings, killing and wounding several of them.

A number of the militias were killed and wounded by the army’s attacks in front of Alb border crossing and Raboaa city.

Dozens of the militias were killed and injured by an explosive device in front of Alb border crossing.

In Jizan province, the army repelled an attack of coalition’s militias in front of Qais mount, killing and injuring dozens of them by an explosive device.

In Najran province, the army fired a missile, Zilzal 1, and artillery shells at groups of militias in front of Sudais, causing heavy casualties.

The army also destroyed a military vehicle by an explosive device in Ajasher desert, killing all its crew.

Also in Najran, the army shot dead three of the militias in the west of Sudais.

In Taiz province, the army attacked sites of the militias in Hamir front of Maqbanah district and in Wazea’eah junction, killing and wounding several of the militias.

In Hajjah province, the army carried out an attack on sites of the militias in Sood hil and nearby hills at the east of Nar mount in Haeadh district, killing  and wounding dozens.

The army also targeted the militias’ gatherings in the east of Nar mount, causing direct casualties.
