PM, Transport Minister discuss transport sector situation

SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Tuesday discussed with Minister of Transport Zakaria al-Shami the situation of the land, sea and air transport sector.

The meeting dealt with the situation of the port of Hodeidah in the light of the outcomes of Sweden consultations and the efforts made by the national team to implement the commitments of the political leadership in Sanaa to the Sweden agreement terms on the port.

The status of Sanaa International Airport and the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Transport to ensure its technical and security readiness were reviewed during the meeting.

The meeting dealt with proposed mechanisms to increase alternative resources in the current exceptional situation.
