Houthi calls for formation of inte’l committee to protect prisoners’ rights

SANAA, Jan. 21 (YPA) – The head of Supreme Revolutionary Committee Mohammad Ali al-Houthi called for the formation of an international committee to protect prisoners’ rights after the Red Cross failed to protect their rights.
Al-Houthi said on his Twitter page that the rejection of the coalition of the humanitarian exchange deal, which was presented through the United Nations to exchange a Saudi prisoner with our prisoners who suffering from disease or wounds and do not have health care in the countries of coalition, expose the terrorism of America, Saudi Arabia and the UAE and their alliance which is contrary to international and humanitarian law.
