Planning, Agriculture Ministries honor FAO representative in Yemen

SANAA, Jan. 19 (YPA) – Ministries of Planning and International Cooperation and Agriculture and Irrigation on Saturday honored FAO’s representative in Sanaa Salah Hassan and his deputy Mohammed Salem on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the cooperation between Yemen and the organization.

During a celebration held for this occasion, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdulaziz al-Komim said the honoring came in recognition of the FAO role in supporting the agricultural projects in Yemen.

He indicated to the growing cooperation between Yemen and the organization for four decades.

For his part, Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Abdulmalik al-Thawr emphasized the importance of developing the bilateral cooperation between the two sides in the agricultural and livestock fields.
