Update: Army’s snipers shoot two militants in Jawf

JAWF, Jan. 11 (YPA) – The snipers unit of the Yemeni army on Friday were able to shoot two militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Jawf province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The militants were killed in sniping attack, which took place in  Astor area of Khub Washaef district, the official said.

Earlier in the day, the army forces repelled an attack carried out by the militants on Ham district, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment.
