UN envoy to Yemen due to arrive in Moscow Thursday

SANAA, Jan. 10 (YPA) – The United Nations envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, is expected to arrive in the Russian capital Moscow on Thursday on an official visit, a UN source told “Russia Today” news channel.

Earlier in this week, Griffiths visited Sanaa and met with Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi and the political components. He then went to the Saudi capital Riyadh and met with the exiled Hadi as part of his effort to speed up the implementation of the agreements reached in Sweden consultations, especially the items related to the coastal city of Hodeidah and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people.
