Riyadh delegation refuses to continue joint meetings in Hodeidah

SANAA, Jan. 9 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Izzi has said that representatives of Riyadh delegation refused to continue the joint meetings in the city of Hodeidah.

The representatives of the delegation of Riyadh stipulated that the meetings to be held in a building for a Yemeni citizen occupied by foreign forces and photographs of mercenaries were hung in the walls, Hussein al-Izzi wrote on his Twitter account on Tuesday.

Representatives of the Yemeni army refused to do so, Izzi said, stressing that the military honour does not allow it.

“Our Yemeni moral principles do allow us to meet them in a building for a Yemeni citizen looted by the Janjaweed mercenaries of Sudan and the UAE,” he added.

He confirmed that this refusal reveals their premeditated intentions to obstruct the work of the Committee and aimed to thwart the Stockholm Agreement.
