Coalition shells several areas in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Jan. 4 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition militants on late Thursday shelled with artillery and machine guns various areas in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the bombardment targeted Tuhitah district and Mahal al-Sheik village in the western coast.

 Meanwhile, the militants fired 29 artillery shells on the eastern areas of Hays district.

Earlier in the day, the militants also bombed Koa’i area east of Durihimi district.
