FM discusses UNICEF’s role in mitigating Yemenis’ suffering

SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Saturday discussed in Sanaa with UNICEF Resident Representative, Meritxell Relano, the organization’s role in alleviating the suffering of citizens, especially women and children, due to the aggression and siege on the country.

In the meeting, Sharaf praised UNICEF’s activities in the implementation of drinking water projects in Sanaa.

He confirmed the commitment of the government competent bodies to facilitate the tasks of the humanitarian organizations working in Yemen.
