Palestinian killed, another injured by Israeli occupation’s fires

SANAA, Dec. 21 (YPA) – A Palestinian civilian was killed and another was injured late on Thursday after the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on their vehicle near Beit El checkpoint.

According to the Ministry of Health, a citizen (not yet identified) was killed after the occupation opened fire on him, near the northern entrance to Al-Bireh. It was reported that the martyr and wounded from Jerusalem.

The occupation claimed that the driver of the vehicle tried to storm the checkpoint, so occupation soldiers fired at him and seriously wounded before announcing his death.

The occupation forces declared the eastern area of ​​Ramallah a closed military zone. The gate of the Jalazoun camp, the Deir Dibwan bridge and  Silwad’s entrances were closed as well as a checkpoint was set up in the Dora al-Qar’a road.
