Shura Council studies projects to enhance consumer protection in current situation

SANAA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – Shura Council on Wednesday discussed projects to enhance consumer protection in the current situations experienced by the country.

The council was briefed on reports of the fields projects presented by the chairman of the Yemeni Society for Consumer Protection aimed to alleviate the disastrous consequences on the national economy caused by Saudi-led coalition to target citizens.

The meeting was headed by Acting Speaker of the Council Mohammad Hussein Al-Aidarous.

The meeting stressed the importance of carrying out the political leadership’s directives to supervise various commercial goods and determine prices for consumers.
