Ministry of Electricity announces tariff rate for sale of electric power to private generator owners

SANAA, Dec. 9  (YPA) – The Ministry of Electricity and Energy announced the setting of a new tariff for the sale of electric power to private generator owners.

The Minister of Electricity and Energy,. Lutf al-Jarmuzi said on Saturday “the maximum limit of the tariff for the sale of electric power to owners of private generators set at 250 riyals per kilowatt.”

He pointed out that the ministry approved the monthly subscription to consumers at a maximum amount of 1,000 riyals, stressing the relevant parties to do so.
