President, Deputy PM discuss humanitarian, economic situations in Hodeidah

SANAA, Dec. 2 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat on Sunday discussed with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Hussein Maqboli the humanitarian and economic situations in Hodeidah province in light of the repercussions of the war and siege.

They touched on challenges of the economic war waged by Saudi-led coalition countries, which has exacerbated the suffering of Yemeni citizens.

The meeting, which was attended by acting governor of Hodeidah province, also dealt with efforts to develop revenues, as well as the coordination between the Finance Ministry and the local authority in Hodeidah to improve the performance level in the service and development areas.
