Update1: Elderly woman killed, 4 civilians injured in Saudi bombing on Saada

SAADA, Nov. 29 (YPA) – An elderly woman was killed and four citizens, including two children, were injured on Thursday when Saudi-led coalition forces bombed border residential areas in Saada province, an official told Yemen Press Agency.

“The elderly woman died from wounds she sustained as a result of air raid by the coalition fighter jets on Shaban area of the border district of Razih,” the official said.

He added that the coalition’s rocketry and artillery forces waged random bombing on populated area in Ghafira district, injuring three civilians, including a little girl, and destroying several houses.

On Wednesday evening, a two-year-old girl was injured in intensive Saudi-led airstrikes on Nashur area of al-Safraa district, while three other raids hit a truck and a car in the same area.

Saudi rockets, artillery shells and airstrikes continue daily to target the border areas in the districts of Razih, Baqem, Sheda and Monabeh in Saada.
