Large Russian landing ship “Nikolai Velchinkov” enters Mediterranean Sea

SANAA, Nov. 21 (YPA) – The large Russian landing ship,” Nikolai Velchinkov”, entered the Mediterranean Sea.

Russian news agencies on Tuesday reported that the Russian large landing ship “Nikolai Velchinkov” crossed the Black Sea Straits on Tuesday and entered the Mediterranean Sea.

Nikolai Velchinkov is heading to the port of Tartous, where the permanent Russian navy base is located.

The ship carries loads of cargo; escorted by the Turkish Coast Guard boat it was crossing the Bosporus Strait.
