SANAA, Nov. 15 (YPA) – Civil society organizations (CSOs) held on Thursday a protest in front of the UN building in the capital Sanaa, condemning the attack on Hodeidah Port and all war crimes committed by Saudi-led coalition against Yemeni people.
The participants denounced, in a statement issued during the protest, the silence of the international community towards the coalition’s crimes in Hodeidah province.
They held the coalition countries responsible for the crime of targeting Hodeidah port and all previous crimes.
The statement called on the United Nations and international humanitarian organizations to take their legal and moral responsibilities towards the coalition’s crimes against Yemeni people.
In the statement, the CSOs demanded that an independent and impartial international commission of inquiry should be formed in order to prosecute perpetrators of those crimes.
