SANAA, Nov. 15 (YPA) – Foreign Ministry in Sanaa on Thursday condemned the killing of a citizen from Mahra province, eastern Yemen, by Saudi-led coalition forces during peaceful protests against Saudi presence in the province on Wednesday.
In a statement to the official Yemen News Agency (Saba), the ministry warned Saudi government of continuing to destabilize the security and stability of the province and implement its colonial schemes in it.
The statement hailed Mahra’s residents who were aware of Saudi planes and moved to defend the land through peaceful ways guaranteed by all international conventions and laws.
“The time of invasion and occupation by force has gone forever,” the ministry said, stressing that the occupation acts being implemented by Saudi Arabia and the UAE in Yemeni territory is void according to the international law.
The ministry warned that “such crimes and actions threaten to blow up efforts of the UN Special Envoy to Yemen to resume peace talks.”
