DRC’s support for technical education in Yemen discussed

SANAA, Nov. 6 (YPA) – Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Ghazi Mohsen, on Tuesday discussed with Country Director of Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in Sanaa, Audrey Crawford, the council’s role in supporting the technical education in Yemen.

In the meeting, Mohsen reviewed the difficulties facing the technical education development, especially in the hard circumstances the country is currently going through as a result of Saudi-led coalition war and siege.

He confirmed his ministry’s readiness to implement training courses in various specializations for qualifying youth in several fields.

For her part, Crawford said that the council would provide necessary support for the technical institutes within the areas it working in, and it would cooperate with other organizations in this aspect.
