5.1 magnitude earthquake shakes China’s northwest

SANAA, Nov. 4 (YPA) – An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit Xingyang district in northwest China, the Chinese seismological Center said on Sunday.

According to the center, the tremors were recorded, on Sunday, at 5:36 local time (0.36 Moscow time).

The epicenter took place at  Kizilso-Kyrgyzstan Autonomous Region at a depth of 22 km.

There was no tsunami warning, damages or casualties were reported from the quake.
