Yemeni media officials meet official in UNHCR

SANAA, Oct. 31 (YPA) – President of Yemeni Media Union Abdullah Sabry along with official and private media means met on Wednesday an official of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) in Yemen.

During the meeting, the officials referred to the crimes and violations committed by the US-backed Saudi-led collation since the beginning of its war waged on Yemen, the last of which was targeting Hodeida Radio on September.

They said that, during the forth years of the coalition’s aggression, 184 media professionals belonging to the Yemeni media institutions have been killing and several of these institutions have been destroyed .

In his turn, the official of UNHCR affirmed the attention drawn by the UNHCR to those media victims through the documentation for those crimes expressing readiness to cooperate with the Union and other concerned media institutions in this regard.
