IAMS warns of Israel’s activity in Gulf, calls for rejection of normalization with it

SANAA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – The International Association of Muslim Scholars (IAMS) warned against Israel’s activity in the Gulf, calling for rejection of normalization with it under its occupation of Palestine.
In a statement, the Association called on the Islamic nation and its leaders to stand up to their major issues and not to neglect Jerusalem and the occupied territories.
The statement condemned “any normalization, official or popular reception of the occupiers’ delegations to Jerusalem, and the Zionist movement, and any welcome to the occupiers in Muslims countries.
The statement of IAMS came a day after Omani Sultan, Qaboos bin Said al Said, met with Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, in Muscat to discuss the resumption of the peace process with Palestine, which has been stalled since 2014.
