Yemeni army repels coalition-backed militants’ infiltration in western coast

HODEIDAH, Oct. 24 (YPY) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Wednesday foiled a large scale attack of the coalition-backed militants in the western coast of Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Several militants, including leaders, were killed and injured during their attempt to advance towards the southern part of Kilo 16 area, the official said.

Two military vehicles were destroyed in the attack, the official added.
