Yemeni army repels Saudi-backed militants’ infiltration in Asir

ASIR, Oct. 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni army repelled on Tesuday a large-scale attack carried out by the Saudi-backed militants towards Alib crossing in Asir province,  a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The repelling operation resulted in killing several militants and wounding others, in addition to the destruction of a number of Saudi military vehicles, the source said.

The Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched several air strikes to back its militants in their failed attempt.
