Zabid local authority discusses health situation

HODEIDAH, Oct. 17 (YPA) – The leadership of the local authority in Zabid district of Hodeidah province on Wednesday held a meeting with the Director and staff of the Health Office to discuss the health conditions in the district.
At the meeting, the Director of the Health Office in Zabid reviewed the tragic situation in the health sector in light of the acute shortage of medicines and medical supplies, especially with the spread of epidemics and diseases among the community.
The health Office in Zabid showed a list of medicines whose stocks were inaccessible due to increased demand.
The Director of the Health Office also appealed to international and local humanitarian organizations to provide the only hospital in the district with medicines and treatments.
