Meeting held in the capital Sanaa to discuss activities in cholera combat

SANAA, Oct. 17 (YPA) – A meeting held on Wednesday in the capital Sanaa under the presidency of Minister of Water and Environment Nabeel al-Wazeer to discuss the report over the field activities in the combat of cholera during the last week, Saba stated.

The meeting, attended by an official of the U.N. Children’s Fund in the Children Fund reviewed a report submitted by the emergency room in the Ministry of Water and Environment on the permanence of the authorities concerned in the ministry in the field of combat of cholera and a data base, which concerns theirs cumulative achievements and level of respect for the guidance of the the last meetings in this regard .

The meeting dealt with the activities of urgent intervention’s teams for combat the cholera according to the details submitted by the UNICEF and the Yemeni Public Authority for Rural Water Projects.

It reviewed a report on the preventive response on the base of the rate of the Rainfall during the period from 7 to 13 October in 70 districts in Sanaa.
