13 coalition militiamen dead, 20 injured in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Oct. 16 (YPA) – At least 13 militiamen backed by Saudi-led coalition were killed on Tuesday and 20 others injured in an attack carried out by Yemeni army in the western coast, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The attack, which lasted for hours, targeted coalition militias’ positions in south of Kilo 16 area of Hodeidah province, the official said.

The coalition warplanes tried to disrupt the army’s advance through waging ten air raids and flying intensively in the sky of the battlefield, but that did not dissuade the army units from completing the offensive mission, he added.
