French thanks Oman to play role in free its detained citizen in Yemen

SANAA, Oct. 16 (YPA) –The France expressed on Tuesday its especial thank to Omani Sultan Qaboos Bin Said who played a ” Pivotal role” in release of a French citizen who was detained in Yemen for more than four months.

This came in a statement issued by the office of French President Emanuel Macron in which he thanked everyone, who made theirs efforts to release Alain Goma.

Earlier the day, the National Salvation Government freed Goma.

In June, Alan Goma was detained by the Yemeni authorities nearby the western coast where he had faced a technical fault aboard of his boat and he was transported to the capital Sanaa.
