Yemeni army attack coalition-backed militants in Nihem district

SANAA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Thursday launched an offensive on the positions of the coalition-backed militants in Nihem district of Yemen’s Sanaa province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Several militants were killed and others injured during the attack which targeted their sites at Yam, Qatab and the eastern outskirts Eayida areas, the official said.

Meanwhile, the artillery forces shelled gatherings of the militants at the same sites.
