War in Yemen affects education of millions of Yemeni children

SANAA, Oct.06 (YPA) –  Several international organizations said that the war in Yemen has badly affected the education of millions of children.

The organizations affirmed that over a million children out of school since in the beginning of the war.

They called for the resumption of salary payments for the 145,000 Yemeni teachers, who teach children under life-threatening circumstances.

“An entire generation of children is facing the loss of their education and future,” the organizations added.
