SANAA, Oct. 6 (YPA) – Yemeni Ministry of Oil and Minerals in Sanaa on Saturday condemned laying of Saudi Arabia’s oil pipeline to the Arabian Sea through the Yemeni territory.
The oil pipeline to be implemented by Saudi Arabia passes through Yemen’s land across the Empty Quarter desert and the border of Hadramout province and then extends in Mahra province to reach the Arabian Sea coast.
In a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency, the ministry considered what Saudi Arabia has done “a flagrant aggression and an obvious violation of international norms, charters and laws and looting of Yemen’s wealth with the complicity of the exiled Hadi government.”
The statement stressed that a decisive end must be made to Saudi Arabia’s interventions, expansionist ambitions and conspiracies against Yemen, calling for confronting this act with all necessary legal procedures.
The oil ministry called on the United Nations and the UN Security Council to “stop the acts of aggression and looting, the occupation of Yemen territories and the sovereignty violation by Saudi Arabia.”
